Absolutely the right manager for this moment in time for Everton. However wouldn't be surprised if they are sick of him within 3-4 years.

Bielsa wouldn't have been right at all, IMO.

I'm not buying the argument Everton are safe if Dyche comes in.

I accept that Stains and Plucky look doomed but Forest, Wolves and West Ham are all showing signs of life, while Leicester, Palace and Leeds should have enough to stay up.

I also wonder how many of the bigger players are already planning on their next move. We know Gordon has downed tools, we know Spurs are eyeing Pickford as a replacement for Lloris, and the prospect of playing under Dyche suggests the players will have to work hard and grind out results. Are they prepared to do that?

Will he still throw the new recruits into a canal like they used to at Burnley? What a character.

"Bielsa or Dyche" shows that they really don't have a plan
Alan Shearer made a point about the hugely differing styles and approaches of various previous appointments.

Dyche is the right appointment to get them promoted back to the prem next year, this year I reckon they're toast.

I reckon Dyche will keep them up if he can identify a first choice team out of the squad that are willing to fight for him. You’d think Everton would have enough between first team and academy for survival.

Like the mechanics in the Inbetweeners.

Classy.
Not sure if that’s quite true - googled to check and could only find this about sitting in river for a fine - but different from chucking the new boys in a canal…!

From one decision to the next. Does anyone know what the hell is going on at that club? Clearly nobody at board level does.

No foregone conclusion either way imo. He will get them organised but they are terrible, specially at scoring goals.
