Yep the lowest of the lowest are now invited to pick up the scraps with 48 hours until kick off .

35 years going to a few games a season, but below mates of ST’s and members who have never gone before !
If you go to a few games a season, how come you're not a member?

Seen on Twitter that there are ticket sites selling seats in west lower for £89 each! WTF. Gonna be loads of plastics, tourists and Liverpool fans in those seats. Hope the club are as keen on cracking down on that as they are on stopping people passing on away tickets.
May be wrong but I'm sure the likes of W1D and WDF sold out in the 1 ticket per STH window.

Just curious how the seller has got hold of the seats in blocks being listed unless there's something I'm missing?

There were lots of tickets available there after the season ticket window, that's where I am sitting for the game on Sunday. I am a STH in the North Stand but our group decided to have a change.

You mis-read the tweet (assuming it's the same one).

There are a few dodgy ticketing sites about - generally based outside the UK out of the reach of UK law. One of the main ones, livefootballtickets, is based in Spain for example.

As I posted above, I know the club did have a process to try and track down the tickets, and original buyer and take action - both cancelling the tickets (meaning the attendee is denied entry) and banning the original purchaser, but it must be a blaborious time-intensive process and a bit of a whack-a-mole game that's difficult to win.

I've got a meeting with the club next week to get a preview of the season ticket renewal package for next year, so I'll ask about this if there's a chance.

Interesting they are offering a preview of the renewal package, can only assume changes to warrant this.

If by any chance it comes up would you mind enquiring if the transport levy for those booking season tickets with seagulls travel could be redirected, it would be most welcome I feel. Sorry for potentially opening the floodgates!

1) assuming the tickets are real
2) assuming they actually have the tickets. It’s not unusual for touts to claim to have tickets, sell them and then do everything they can to then source them.
3) not sure - but possibly 1901 related ?

This is a regular at Fan Forum evenings and Paul Barber has a standard response to it (which I can't recall off top of my head). Doubt it will get anywhere.

Would be good to hear the response, thanks.

The Android phone thing makes no sense, scan the QR code the reader has no idea if it’s an Apple or Android phone.

Yeah, that was weird. Got to NS turnstiles about 1.40pm for Liverpool game. Stewards doing the frisking warned us that Android phone STs weren't working, we might have to go to ticket office, tho we were welcome to try turnstile scanning anyways. Turnstile scanning worked just fine in the end, but a bit worrying that potentially 50% of the all-digital STH might have had to trot along to the ticket office for a paper ticket. The queues would 'of' stretched halfway to Hove
I took it to be address checking with the andriod issue excuse, expect it'll be apple phone next time. My phone had three tickets on, two season tickets and a guest ticket. Two scanned no problem but my ticket didnt, surely an issue like that would have affected all three tickets.

When you say re-directed do you mean a proportion of the levy is paid to ST so they can lower the costs for the users. I was alway under the impression that they got this already - unless they did at the start but it was later stopped as I'm 99% sure I can remember it was at the beginning

My understanding is that the current season ticket price includes a levy payment for free rail and bus travel on matchdays

I wondered though could this be redirected to seagulls travel for those of us who don’t use the public transport on matchdays with Seagulls travel being the official club partner (probably unlikely)

Yes the levy to Seagulls Travels was stopped at least 4 or 5 years ago and probably more. Barber regularly gets asked about this in the Fan Forum sessions.

But you could have got a ST or member mate to get you one almost immediately, right?
Yes but living 100 miles away since 1990 I don’t know any.
Anyway the point is ticket history should be ahead of member mates , and would also reduce away fans in home seats.

Loads of posters on here willing to help out other long term members of nsc to have as their ‘guests’ - keep in mind for future 👍

'Member mates' isn't exactly right though is it. I've used my +2 to take my two children, the future supporters of the club, and I'm grateful to the club that my membership gives them priority over 'anyone who's ever been to a game from 100 miles away'.

Does anyone know if you can download someone else's ticket to your wallet, so I use my ticket to get in then pass the phone back to use their ticket?
