Why take a risk on a 29 year old with a history of injuries and for most of his career has been far from prolific. We have an old striker with an injury history, we don't need another.

Now l know we have recently unearthed young Evan Ferguson, and have Danny Welbz too of course, but neither player will play in every game, Evan because he is still a kid and needs to have his games cherry picked for him, and both Danny & Patrick Bamford are somewhat injury prone. With three strikers though it would enable us to play with a ready made goalscoring striker, and not have to rely on any of this "false 9" nonsense that has been prevalent several times this season.

I wonder if Leeds, especially considering his poor recent injury record, might be tempted by a cheeky little bid? Worth testing the water?
