No, even for the two and a bit months he is still an annoying prick. Bloke is a cretin who has created a weird cult of teenage boys following his every word, really strange
Is he Andrew Tate in disguise?

This suggests he's going nowhere.
He's moaning about the cold, clearly it's a come and get me signal to the Spanish clubs.

All joking aside its refreshing to see a 21 year old publicly stating how much he enjoys it here, praising the manager and recognising that we've opened doors for him. Alexis Mac Allister says the same thing. That is worth a lot when we are looking for our next South American superstar.

…already happened with Facundo…..interestingly same thing happening in Ireland with Evan’s emergence and other recent signing. Irish football pages absolutely full of praise for how we operate and look after players.

I’m pretty sure this preceded that one as it would have been around the time Abramovich first pitched up. Not sure if the kid ever made it. They’ve obviously been at it for decades.
He made almost 100 appearances for Chelsea and now plays for Barcelona

Club have been briefing widely in last 24 hours “no intention” of letting him go “this window” and presumably briefed Sky yesterday that Chelsea were a long way apart in their valuation of the player.
And Caicedo did an interview for the Argus published this morning saying his focus is Brighton etc.
Now - never say never and all that but Not sure this equals a Trossard like sulk of someone about to exit.
1 week to go…

And it also coincides with stories about Chelsea going back in for Fernandez despite everything that went on with him and Benfica earlier this month so maybe Chelsea have got the picture about Caicedo now.

It’s clear from that article that someone at the club is obviously holding him against his will, the poor guy just wants to get out the club… there must be some kind of cryptic message in there we are missing. #FreeCaicedo

I hate that odious little filthpig Romano.

just what we wanted to hear. Was always going to come down to if Caicedo did a Cucurella and started issuing come and get me noises.

That should be job done . Well done young man
Indeed that is a huge F off to everyone. Suitably timed and probably increases his worth even more.

Meh.

I have no doubt any player in Caicedo's position will be looking at the bigger picture and ultimately wanting that inevitable 'big' move that is coming his way, no matter how happy you are with your current job. There's no animosity towards a player having ultimate career goals and, however LOVELY it is to convince ourselves that a south american dreams of playing for brighton on £X, the draw of Champions League clubs and twice the salary is completely understandable and to be expected. Let's not kid ourselves, this is our selling point to young players when we approach them.

It's just all a bit nicer when the player/agents know the move is likely to happen and don't feel the need to release silly comments to the media to try hurry it up. It will happen, keep playing your football and then see what happens.

Finally, I really do find the amusement in people getting upset at the messenger (Romano) rather than the message itself.

"Caicedo is switching agents"
"NO NO NO....SHHHH.....DON'T TELL US.....STOP IT....I DON'T WANT TO KNOW...LALALALALAALA IM NOT LISTENING"

That said he clearly didn’t change his agent for altruistic reasons and a move in the summer at the latest looks highly likely….
Why do people assume a change of agent means he wants out? Given Moises is a very young man who has shot to a (IMO) a world class player in short time, he probably had no proper agent/a very small one.

There’s hundreds of reasons a player could change agent, maybe he wants a new deal, maybe he’s fallen out with the old one, recommended one by a teammate etc

People get annoyed at Romano because it’s regurgitated big club orientated nonsense, his ‘sources’ have been proven time and time again to be wrong.

People that claim to be ITK for clicks and attention online are annoying, he’s an idiot.

Bet you he eats gold leaf caviar and only shops in Waitrose, tosser.

This, plus his profile has gone up considerably in the last year. An agent can also help him get bigger and better commercial deals, it isn't just about securing a move/massive pay day on the playing contract side.

I've no doubt he'll move on sooner rather than later, if we have him for next season then we will be doing something very special indeed, but a change of agent doesn't mean he's pushing for a move.
