Lovely little insurance policy for Arsenal now that they’ve been gazumped on Mudryk. A couple of injuries to players like Nketiah, Saka or Martinelli and they might look a bit toothless. Tross could* give them an option in all 3 forward positions. He has been one of the top 10 forward players in the league pre-world cup, I think there might be some truth in this one but again, TB will want a lot of bucks.
One of the London Stupid Clubs is sure to take the bait and end up overpaying

Love the way people say he wants a big move to set him up for life. He's earning would be in the region of £5/6m since he's been here and a new contract would likely be for more. If you can't set yourself up for life with those figures you must be on self destruct.
Ahh yes don't forget, its only short career :)

£2.5 M a year is a very good salary but could earn around £4m a year if he moved to arsenal of Chelsea etc - assuming they want him and will pay the £25-30m required

If this 12 million bid from Spurs is true, I can see Trossard having a strop if we don’t accept it

Unless he was driving his wife to Belgium to have their child there so she is near her family?
Apparently reported he went by Eurostar , and if it was for his wife the club would a) not have helped in any possible way they could b) make an announcement as to show support and understanding of the situation and c) he is reported back today , apparently in normal mode , as apposed to panic over his wife and baby .

The club/RDZ have not mishandled this at all.

The bigger picture is that we've got £100's of millions of talent all on contracts with 2 to 3 years left. Those players are looking at this situation to see if BHA will blink. So are a lot of agents and well financed clubs.

RDZ is publicly showing we won't blink. If we have to have a situation where Leo stays but is frozen out, we'll do it. Not ideal, but better than rolling over at the first sight of some player power
Excellent post .
