Not quite a first but first time since 1992 an 18 year old has scored in the top flight in two consecutive matches (according to Radio Sussex)

First time we've had a (current) world cup winner come off the bench...

Think that's wrong. Think it was macheda for man u in 2009 who funnily enough turned out to be gash.

On a pedantic note, I was at the match where Owen scored his first for Liverpool. I took my boys up to Selhurst (we cleaned the seats). I am pretty sure it was against Wimbledon. That aside I am very excited by young Evan's start, I don't think it will be an "Aaron moment"
Cleaning seats……..not even close to a reasonable excuse, or kids, or much else for that matter.

The stat was Everton's 500th top flight defeat...not sure if home or combined wasn't made clear.

I was at the match (almost by accident but anyway) where Roland Bergkamp made his professional debut back in 2009. I had a feeling that day that it was maybe a historical moment but it wasn't until ten years later that it turned out to be true.
That is a great stat. Why were you in Den Bosch though??

My grandpa worked in the Netherlands (not exactly sure what he did but some kind food-tech-shit) and for the last few years before his retirement, I used to go a few times a year and visit different cities and stadiums with him. Plan was to go see RKC the next day in the Eredivisie but due to some work thing there was a late change of plans and we just went to De Vliert instead as that was close and practical.
