What does that make Pret then? For me, that's overpriced way more than Greggs. They haven't changed menu in years, except to remove the good stuff and replace it with yet another thing containing avocado, their coffee is terrible and the bread used in their "posh" cheese and pickle has twice given me a terrible stomach ache (I'm not gluten intolerant). Plus they have a very average record when it comes to labelling allergens. There are four of the places near my office and it's always so depressing when a colleague tags along for lunch and then says "shall we grab a Pret?". No. f*** off.
I'm happy to believe this, I know a lot of people seem to like it, but I always thought (presumably incorrectly) that it was just crap food. And I do love a good quality sausage roll or pie.

Haven’t been in there for years but heard loads of people locally moaning about it, and plenty are fed up with the lazy twats who can’t be arsed to park their cars and walk 20 yards into the place and would rather block the nearby roundabout waiting in the drive-thru queue. From what I’ve heard one of the issues if the sheer number of delivery orders through Deliveroo etc they are dealing with and presumably prioritise……
