If you can’t be good, be lucky! My starter certainly helped today, but then there was still a huge slice of luck with my 2nd guess. I’m sure this luck, particularly for my Wordle Cup fixtures, won’t last forever.

In the meantime, my average is the lowest it’s ever been.
