absolutely gutted that there’s gonna be none for tomorrow, but i totally respect the points system, my sons 9 and already on 200 points after 1 and half seasons of games hone and away and i know he will be gutted to miss this, but he knows the situation already and has simple said next year dad we’re be able to go to more because we’re gain the points by the end of the season…..

if you wanna go to the games you have to do the graft to get the points..

well done to those that got a ticket, fingers crossed more are released but if not enjoy the day

Thankfully yes.
Excellent!

With the exception of Brentford it should be possible to get away tickets in group 2 if you're quick enough and / or accept a worse seat. I had restricted view at Fulham but the boy said he'd prefer that and being there singing to watching it on the telly. Actually, even Brentford should really have had a few G2 but lets not go there again :lolol:

It had dropped to 20 when about 9.25 some 40 more appeared mostly in blocks which had sold out, i guess the club seeing the demand have already started releasing some of the ones they were holding.

..........or multiple people holding them in baskets as they to and fro with mates trying to book. Doubt the club would be holding random seats dotted all over the place

On a side note, I reckon the 'day one' thresholds will need to rise next season.

Despite the end of season culling of points, the increasing number of fans with higher and higher points is like the cost of energy.

Was talking with someone t'other day, there was a time when 400+ points was something special. Nowadays there are many on 600+ and the trend is upwards.

Keep accumulating, they might come in useful next campaign. ;)

Could be but when i opened a couple of the blocks to look the new seats were in small blocks of 6 or 8
edit. i am now imagining a scenario where a group of six mates are all on each other's friends and family lists and 4 go on and grab six tickets each in their baskets they then spend about 25 minutes discussing between themselves and the two who didn't log in which are the best seats. Having finally made a decision the person with what they consider to be the best will buy them and the others will just let time elapse till they all drop out of their baskets.
People could not be that selfish, could they?

Yes you are definitely right.

They're adjusted every game.....essentially the Tier One threshold for any game seems to guarantee you can buy a ticket if you're in it so depends on the allocation - it's not really a seasonal adjustment, but for the same games the number might be a bit higher next season I guess. Great that our away support is so good, but there are still plenty of games available for those wanting to build up their points (15 for Everton for example, not sold out and been on sale to A+ members for a week)

In our group of 8, the 5 with enough pts have snapped up tickets.

The other 3 would love to go but look like being unlucky unless the club can get more off Charlton.

Huge demand for this match - especially among the large number of only occasional away fans who have not yet had access to tickets.

If you keep clicking the odd one or two are still appearing.

Hardly surprising. Found it crazy that anyone thought this wouldn’t sell out in quick time.

Yep, and the highest band start I've seen this season was around 284 (ish) for Brentford. As I understand the system, each new season your points are proportionally reduced (maybe halved?) and then the new ST points added on if you've kept them. Then the bands are simply "if everyone in group one gets a ticket then they will exactly sell out to that group". i.e. G1 guaranteed a ticket.

I'm going to make a massive assumption and say we'll stay up. If so then that first group will largely be people who go to over 5 aways a season and have a long term ST. Our loyalist supporters and probably not those who need to be told to go or harvest points or whatever. But, within that, some of the days out are getting pretty repetitive. Do I really have any desire to go to Everton and look through a letter box every season? Old Trafford AGAIN? With THOSE trains. Even West Ham is a pretty shit day out, except for the fact we normally do well. So those in lower tiers should, once again, have plenty of opportunity to grow their points.

I saw a group of 5 seats in a row at the front of the upper part of the stand which definitely weren't there yesterday so there have certainly been more seats released by the club

The argument for keeping the threshold lower is that you at least give other people a chance otherwise you get the same 3k attending each game (well for London and nearby).

Could well be restricted view. There's a dirty great pole in the middle of the Jimmy Seed, just where you've described.

RV are last on sale at Fulham.

As mentioned a couple of times, when I looked on Sunday there were at least 250 tickets greyed out in the middle of the stand across multiple sections.
I had assumed these were complimentary tickets but possibly the club had chosen to hold a few back.
