Trying to predict results in this World Cup is like trying to predict a Potter starting line-up

What brilliant composure and finish from Aboubacar. So pleased VAR allowed it.

This is turning into one of those unexpected classics you tend to get at every World Cup. More twists and turns to come, I expect.
What a bizarre moment though. No-one actually celebrated the goal until after VAR gave it onside! The reverse of what normally happens.

Another ridiculously good game of World Cup football at the group stage.

Ghana with 37% possession and only 3 shots on target win 3-2.

Another win for an Albion player. Well done Tariq!

Well I listened to the first half but had to go downstairs to watch the second half. Two teams knowing that a draw wasn't enough and going for the win.
Permutations for the third games in this league all depend on Brazil v Swiss at 4:00 as Cameroon play Brazil so they must hope for a Brazil win today to maybe ease off a bit.
On the other hand Serbia v the Swiss is a winner takes all.
Loving the World Cup.
Next up is South Korea v Ghana and LAMPTEY STARTS. Look out for Chris Hughton too, maybe lurking in the back team as part of the technical support staff.
When you read this you can hear Hughtons voice.
"The mood is very good and I think it's the realisation that it's a game [against South Korea] that we need to do well in. But we are still here and we are here for a reason.
We played against probably the best team in the group and came close. So I think that's what will give the players the confidence going into the game against South Korea."
Yeah, just spotted Hughton. Hadn’t realised he was involved, but good to see him.
