Japan coach seems be in his Potter phase as regards Mitoma. Really needs to be more RDZ
Mitoma standing there on a number of occasions and not passed to yet both times he has, he run straight into the box, what gives?

A shame for our man, but if they go out and he’s only played a handful of minutes we’ll have a fully fit Mitoma to launch at other PL teams. De Zerbi knows how to use him

You have to wonder what Japan's coach and players were missing. Two runs when they gave him the ball that made it obvious that he could get to the line with ease. Did they keep giving him the ball? Did any of their attacking players hang back for the pull back? That was bad.

Martinez clearly has his favourites, Hazard, great as he once was, shouldn’t be anywhere near the starting line up… he’s been poor/injured for a long while now

Is it just me or did the goal take a deflection? The keeper’s getting a lot of stick for jumping too early but I’m sure it’s come off the defender and added a bit of loop and spin on the ball.

Germany will qualify now even if they lost to Spain.
Japan will get hammered by Spain in the final game and Germany will go through on GD.
