It’s really not rocket science. Don’t hire people who don’t have the legal right to work. And if you don’t have the right to work and are caught working, expect to be punished.

Think it will get sorted, the hospitality industry has huge staff shortages, (Thank you Nigel Farage), this puts a marker down for all the local bars and restaurants coming into the Festive season.

Might you feel differently if they were working excessively long hours and being paid below minimum wage? Because that is very often the case with illegal workers, with no rights.

This is true, but we don't know whether this was the situation in the present case. If it was then Donatello's should remove themselves 200 yards southwards.
