I get the reference to South Korea and the bent ref. You'd think that episode has been learnt from, yet the WC is in, er, Qatar. In winter.

It’s quite insulting that clearly English players seem to be more passionate about playing for wales than a lot of English players do playing for England.

I wonder about the Scottish list as well, they have a lot of English cast offs as well.

I think Qatar unfortunately are pretty good and they've been training together for months now.

Not going to bet on any result in that game, but thinking a bit about cards as I think it will be a pretty tough game.

Refereeing decisions going for the home nation has a long and fine tradition:

1978 - Argentina dodgy penalty v France without even going into the Peru game
1982 - red card for Northern Ireland v Spain

Can both be added to South Korea in 2002.

Not to mention our very own Brighton born youngster in the Wales U21s, who may well play for the senior Wales team in the future.
