I don't see anybody in Scotland voting Labour if they say we'll go back into the EU or customs union, when the SNP and Lib Dems are already offering that.
Most people don't want to talk or think about it anymore, and promising to reopen discussion on freedom of movement will just open them to attacks of being soft on immigration.
Well the Lib Dems are never going to get power in Westminster on their own and Scotland trying to rejoin the EU as an independent nation is not really going to work practically, so the pragmatic vote would be to vote Labour, although they are thought of as Tory lite up there, so you are probably right.

For the first few minutes I thought that Sunak might be different from previous Prime Ministers and (a) show that he wants to help ordinary people, and (b) actually provide some answers to PMQs. Then he reverted to type and came out with the usual party political bollocks (which is contrary to his supposed Hindu faith). Opportunity missed.

Well you certainly won't get an honest or genuine answer from the OP, he'll claim anything and everything to try and get bait for his fishing trips
I won't get ANY answer by the look of it!

Avoided answering the difficult questions and kept repeating things about the former leader of the opposition that are no longer relevant.
Very much a must do better.

Sunak.

Instigated Eat Out To Help Out, raising infection rates of Covid 19 , killing tens of thousands and plunging us back into lock-down. He still defends it and says he did the right thing.

Claims we listened to scientists too much during the pandemic. As the government dithered and caused the deaths of tens of thousands of people and scientists begged them to lock-down.

Was convicted and fined for attending illegal parties at 10 Downing St during the lock-down. Despite being found guilty, he maintains to this day he had just turned up early for a meeting.

Redirected funds from some of the UK's poorest areas to rich, Tory voting areas. Then used this as leverage to sway Tory member voters at the recent leadership hustings.

Claims to have a mandate. Lie. Nobody has voted for him to be leader. Ever.

The wealthiest serving MP in the UK. While his constituents are amongst the lowest paid in the UK.

Has a billionaire wife that avoided paying any tax in the UK and only corrected her "tax affairs" when she was outed and he had his eye on the top job.

Has reinstated Braverman as Home Secretary. A woman who has stated her dream is; "to see a picture of a plane transporting asylum seekers to Rwanda taking off on the front of the Telegraph".

A good even matched encounter today, both got good blows in but neither was able to land the knock out punch.

1-1

I thought Sunak made pretty short work of Starmer this afternoon in PMQs.

A good start all round.
If by "short work" you really mean "avoided answering any question or responding to any point" I totally agree with you. He did a cracking job.

Nothing like a bit of Whataboutery to deflect from one's own failings.
What about Breixt (6 years old) and whatabout Corbyn (3 years old)

Starmer scenting blood and going after Braverman, the Tories piss poor record on processing asylum claims and the appalling Manston Refugee Centre. Sunak resorting to attacking Jeremy Corbyn and banging on about delivering Brexit. Only one winner here.

Speaking of Corbyn he is busy joining a gang of Vlad's chums at a New York Putin love in.

There was a quite amusing moment earlydoors today when Starmer asked Sunak a question and Sunak just sat there with his head down, continuing to read his notes. Then he suddenly seemed to remember where he was and shot to his feet
