You clearly didn't see or remember the Rice pass I'm referring to.
The players we have are so good that they should produce a decent performance regardless of the manager.
Certain posters told us that's why Potter's team did so well in his last 20 ish games with us - they are always right, so...
So when Rice inexplicably boots the ball out of play for a corner (just as one example) that’s the manager’s fault?
If you read my original post properly you’ll see I think both manager and players are to blame. It’s not one or the other.
Southgate deserves some of the blame but I’m surprised that hardly anyone is calling out the players.
Nearly all had shocking games full of mistakes. Multiple basic passing errors, getting caught in possession and lack of fight/energy can’t all be down to the manager.
They’re supposed to be...
Exactly. Does my head in on here where people post things from their highly suspect memories as fact. Takes 2 mins to double check and saves you looking a fool.
Rooney was better than Owen. Watch the Rooney Euro 2004 doc on iPlayer. He was the best player in the team aged 18 and all the other established stars (Owen, Beckham, Lampard, Gerrard etc) knew it.
You could try writing couple of sentences. Then waiting for a response, then sending a couple more sentences etc etc
Surprisingly most people communicate that way on the phone or in person too.
Just a thought.
