    [Sussex] Storks in Sussex

I was lucky to be walking the dog on the golf course at the time and was quite an unusual and impressive sight, It might have been a completely different picture (and the ones of Facebook) had i not managed to get the lead on the dog 5 seconds before.

    [Travel] Japan - any tips?

Went to Japan in June for two weeks and it is probably one of the best holidays I have ever had. Japanese people are so friendly and hospitable and everything is really easy to navigate. We got the JR Rail pass that was fantastic value and really allowed us to see more of Japan plus I enjoy the...

[NSC] Random advert middle of NSC

For me it is getting to the stage that unless your login to NSC it is getting pretty unusable. Today it was hard to see the content through the adverts. I also seem to get threads where replies appears a couple of letters per line due to the advert on the right I don't mind the small adverts...

The Official 104th Tour de France thread

This has been my favourite tour for years, nearly every stage has kept my interest and looking forward to the final uphill finish tomorrow. Just of interest if Froome does crack on the final climb tomorrow how much time is he likely to claw back from the main GC riders in the TT on Saturday?

Boris Johnson radio 4 interview 21 June 17

They have some history. Eddie Mair is one of the few reasons to listen to radio 4 and usually far from Mr Angry. His interviews with Steve Hewlett after being diagnosed with cancer were very moving.

    General Election 2017

Welll your not from another planet and I am not sure you are confused! Given the circumstances and the expected result I can see why Labour and their supporters are seeing it as a victory.

    General Election 2017

I think it is a bit unfair to imply that young voters are only voting for Corbyn and the Labour party because of free tuition fees. There was a large movement towards Corbyn way before the manifesto was announced and I think they are voting for not only their own personal circumstances but also...

    General Election 2017

I like your reasonable statement and argument of why you will be voting Tory in the election and totally accept the difficulty of taxing those with the most wealth. Personally as a low middle earner I would be more than happy to pay a little more tax if it ensured a better country where people...

    General Election 2017

I did not watch the debate tonight but there seems lots of discussion about Paxman giving Corbyn a harder time than May. Would be interested in the opinion of people who watched the debate and are fench-sitters if this was true or just left wing moaners?

    General Election 2017

My problem with charging tuition fees in the effect on the economy in the long term. When a student starts earning over the threshold (which is not that high in real monetary value) and start having to pay it back surely it will have an impact on their disposable income for buying consumer goods...
