    Cardiff City (A) 16th Aug - Travelodge £15

Word of warning, hold fire.. it's almost certain that Cardiff v Bristol City on the 13th will be moved because the egg chasers are in town (Wales v England) same day and the police usually insist on a bubble match. They won't have the resources - if its moved to the Sunday then the Tuesday game...

Bristol City Stadium News - Village Green Compromise Passed

We only riot when tesco moves to town. All the planning applications are already passed, it was only the village green application that was holding things up. Anyway will not carry on talking anymore on your board about it! looking forward to visiting the AMEX this season

Bristol City Stadium News - Village Green Compromise Passed

We've had plenty of NIMBYisms along the way, it's three years at least now into the planning stage (I know yours dwarfs that) - we've had the issue of building on green belt, we've had the access road being refused first time around (different council, the access road is in North Somerset) - at...

Bristol City Stadium News - Village Green Compromise Passed

It would have been the biggest village green in history.. 42 acres. In fact they've just got 21 acres, so in fact that might be as well given the average is usually around 1. I fear for a full JR ahead sadly, might be a way to go yet as you probably know all to well.

Bristol City Stadium News - Village Green Compromise Passed

Thought you might like to know, given how supportive you've been in the past, that the council have just agreed to recommendations that the land be split as half village green and half for building on.. so the stadium building can start. :D Off course the TVG applicants could appeal for a...

County Championship Division One, Sussex v Yorkshire at Hove, May 29-Jun 1

One thing I'll say is the Yorkshire tail will just sit and block balls till the cows come home. At Taunton last week Rashid batted for about 3 1/2 hours and scored 51 off 200 odd balls.. It made Jonathan Trott look like a T20 player.

County Championship Division One, Sussex v Yorkshire at Hove, May 29-Jun 1

The final day is set in stone, lunch is always taken at 1, tea is always at 3.40 regardless etc. Looking from afar (Somerset Supporter) you seem very negative or are you taking the piss? Surely if you get last two wickets in next 20 or so minutes you'll knock the 30 or so runs off with ease?

Your favorite landmark in the UK

Well I was going to but I'd been accused of being biased. Shame its getting more expensive to cross, will be up to a quid by the end of the year. They only realised in the last 5-10 years that the piers that the two towers rest on are actually a hollow honeycombe style structure and as a result...

crawley win race to sign striker

He really wasn't anywhere near good enough for the Championship and it's also lead to believe he's not one to put any effort into training. He did well at Brentford in L2 a couple of seasons ago but that's been the highlight so far. Well other than doing a splendid job as 'Agent Akinde' for the...
