Marseille away. Our first competitive game away in Europe. The atmosphere in that ground was simply unforgettable. An iconic stadium, a great fight back on the night and beautiful weather too. An absolutely magical away trip.

Very loud fireworks at 1am near the Velodrome. Presumably, the Albion players are staying nearby.

Gary Chivers. It was always so exciting when a goalkeeper went off injured, or was sent off, and an outfield player had to pull on the gloves!

Well done to the club for producing such a wonderful programme. It is a brilliant souvenir. Highly recommended. The poster in the programme, drawn by Brighton illustrator Jamie Eke, is absolutely superb. I wish they had used this as the front cover of the programme. That would have been awesome!
