Why? It’s no different to Bloom making a decision to terminate Hughton’s tenure. Potter leaving was right for him at the time. Hughton leaving despite everything he had achieved was right for us as a club.
TB is very clear about policy with his staff. He won’t stand in the way of anyone who is offered an opportunity they want if it makes sense for us and the price is right for the club. In fact, it’s more than a policy, it’s a model.

Absolute cr@p IMO. He spent ten years at the club, largely as captain. An important role model, class act and simply a great person.

I really struggle to hate him. Anyone would take a 600% pay rise to leave a job and I never had an inkling that Barber or Bloom were particularly surprised or bothered by him leaving.

I’m pretty clumsy, and have banged my head plenty of times. I’m now very prone to concussion, so an innocuous knock for some would lead to concussion for me. It’s a bit of a nightmare.
My advice:
- Rest. Bed rest is best
- Avoid screens. Put down NSC
- Avoid other stimulation, eg podcasts...
