[Misc] Brighton Half Marathon - MS Fund Raising

We managed to complete the course in one piece (a minor miracle), and in 2hr18 which is around 12 mins faster than we were anticipating. Thank you to everyone who supported us. We absolutely smashed our fund raising target! I always said during training that I'd never do this again, but the...

[Misc] Brighton Half Marathon - MS Fund Raising

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who has donated. Your generosity, particularly in a cost of living crisis is touching to us all. If you missed it first time around, there's still time to donate. Every little helps

[Misc] Brighton Half Marathon - MS Fund Raising

Not planning on it. I've got an MS running vest, but I guess I could wear my BHA cap. As long as I'm not on deaths door at that point, I'll try and say hi on the day

[Misc] Brighton Half Marathon - MS Fund Raising

Hello good people of NSC. I don`t know if this allowed ( mods, please remove if not) but I`m taking part in the Brighton Half Marathon in a couple of weeks with my two sons. I`m a wheelchair user and plan to complete the race in my day chair - a big challenge considering I`ve never done...

[Albion] Looking for disabled Albion fans for feature

Hi Alex. I'd be happy to take part too. I've been a wheelchair user most of my Albion supporting life 👍

[Albion] Ajax Away - Wheelchair travel/tickets

This is possibly (actually it is) a bit niche, so I deliberately haven`t posted in the main Ajax thread. Are there any on here who are wheelchair users, or know of wheelchair users considering going to Ajax? I`m trying to plan as there are lots to consider logistically (accessible...

    [Albion] FAB Euro Ticketing meeting

Be good to know what provisions the club are making (if any) for those fans with disabilities (ambulant and physical/wheelchair users etc.). I want to go to at least one away day if poss, but am really nervous about the logistics involved.

[Cricket] Newbey Photo Comp: Please Vote!

MODs feel free to delete if not appropriate, but my youngest son has entered a Newbery photo competition. He`s desperate to win (I think he wins some cricket kit if successful) and it`s a super special photo of when he got his first century last summer at U11s; so am asking all you good people...

[Football] Euro 2020 (now 2021) dates revealed

Likewise. I stressed all week as I had an under 12 with me who doesn`t have a passport and UEFA weren`t overly helpful on what alternative I could provide; in the end the young lad at the gate didn`t seem that bothered. They also only checked one of our Covid statuses.

[Misc] Euro 2020 (2021) - Fantasy Football League

Not quite a fantasy football league, but the Baby Harry Memorial Fund do a Euro 2020 Competition. Tenner to enter with a fiver going to the fund. Prizes for the top five and a booby prize on offer. All for a good cause. https://babyharry.org.uk/

[News] The Coronavirus Good News thread

I was literally just saying this to the wife whilst we devoured a pasta Bolognese. We are definitely in the final furlong of containment and getting back out the AMEX in August. :ascarf:

[Albion] First Brighton game and who took you....indulge me

Sorry to hear about your loss - at least you have the memories like your Albion experiences with him to hopefully comfort you. A gloriously sunny Saturday 17 August 1985 against the mighty Grimsby Town was my first time. I think the mulleted Alan Biley got at least one (maybe he scored both I...
