Not very optimistic after the shocking defending in the 2nd half mid week. Have to do the basics in this game, keep shape, defend properly and don't fall in to their counter trap.
I'd be shocked if he's not here next season, since when have we just moved on an up and coming talent because they hade some bad luck with an injury after their first season?
Literally makes no sense unless a massive offer came in, which of course is not going to be the case.
Think the key is to out run them. They have an ageing team and the next players in line aren't quite as good (still very good). If we use our energy to the optimal level we could have a chance of getting some points here.
We have one of the best squad depths in the league. Just been very unlucky with injuries. Hopefully we're a bit luckier next season, I think we could fight for Europe again easily.
Still have trauma over that 1-0 when that Solomon scored when we battered them. Any points would be a good result it feels despite our unbelievable form.
Piss poor focus and crap game management. How is it possible we haven't learnt much in half a season? Literally doing the same stuff shit as the beginning of the season.
Have to use this win as a springboard now. Forget the horrendous run and focus on the good elements of the performance to get the morale up. This squad is very capable just been unlucky with injuries and needs some fine tuning with game management and a bit of a kick up the ass to focus more.
It's literally the worst way to not get a result. I can take it on the chin when the other team were just better. But this lack of application, plan and focus is unacceptable at any level of professional football. Need to sort out where this rot comes from asap.
The focus is really poor and I don't understand why. It's only a third of a season and we have a massive squad. Where is the ownership in this squad? It's pathetic.
