I feel like that would be subtracting his natural ability from the team. Solly has performed well where he is suited on the wing. We shouldn't have to subtract one part of the team in order to fill in for a lack of business done off the field in the transfer window, Solly should be left to play...
Besides, people have been whinging and going on since the window opened for us to splash some cash, here we are making a statement of intent and people still talking bollocks, give it a rest.
Good signing imo. Like Norwood, features in the WhoScored TOTS from last season in an underperforming team, recent shithousery aside he seems like a solid addition. No one will talk about the big fee if we're in the PL next August.
http://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2016/brighton-make-contact-for-jean-daniel-akpa-akpro/ just saw that here. Seems like a decent player but not sure why we'd need him. Doesn't he have a brother who already plays/played in England too?
Yes and no. The reality then was totally different to how it is now. Whilst I agree with what you say about the club doing a cracking job with overcoming difficult times, it also must be kept in perspective that the reality NOW is that we're pushing for PL, especially after last season with us...

Stockdale 8

Dunk 7
Bong 6.5
Knockaert 7
Sidwell 8
Kayal 8
Skalak 7
Hemed 6
Murray 7
Apart from missing some good chances, Murray had a good game I thought. Held the ball up well despite being aggressively man-handled by Richard Keogh.
No no, I just think our priority is a small (under 6ft) player with pace and who can finish well inside the box. As someone said, we basically need a Sam Baldock that can score goals. At 6ft 3" I don't think Joselu fits the billing.
