You're not part of the 9am Wetherspoons breakfast club are you? They're getting the 10.30 train from Hastings and setting up camp in the Lansdown :drink:

Little Common have done well to get where they are to be fair to them, it doesn't feel that long ago when the clubhouse had just been built and the main pitch just had some dugouts. They had to play at Eastbourne United for a couple of seasons as the local council weren't too keen on allowing...

I agree a draw was a fair result, Hastings were under the cosh a bit first 20 before they settled in. I think they went 2 up after creating 3 chances vs Bognors 6/7 chances, a polar opposite to last season when they'd find themselves losing after creating most of the chances. Looking forward to...

    [Albion] Food/Drink outside the stadium?

As I'm relying on the trains today I'm getting to the ground well over an hour before kick off, I had intended to meet friends there and have a drink outside the ground. But just remembered they've started work on the new fan zone. Is the only food and drink available inside the ground?

A rather lacklustre performance from Hastings saw them lose 2-0 to Horsham. Another tough test awaits on Saturday with the visit of Lewes, who are another team Hastings have struggled against in recent years. Let's hope the weather gods play ball or a few more might be in the Old Town on...

Yeah always good to see an away team turn out with numbers, flags etc without any trouble. I think the recent attendances have also been boosted by the club offering free tickets to the parents and staff of local primary schools. I'm assuming the club benefits from this judging by the bar and...

Yesterday I watched Bexhill United narrowly lose to Haywards Heath which was a fair result. Fair play to Haywards Heath fans getting behind their team behind the goal.

    [Albion] Adopting another song/anthem

Have thought before us singing Praise You in unison would sound good. Would be a nice touch for Norman to hear/see a clip of the amex belting out one of his songs.

Classic game of 2 halves for Hastings United yesterday. They didn't get going at all during the first half with MOTM John Ufuah being the only player seemingly trying to make things happen. A half time team talk and substitution and the U's looked much brighter second half coming out 3-2 victors...

    [Misc] Mundane celebrity encounters

Used to be Henning Wehn's postman and have chatted to him a couple of times at Hastings United games. Rhino from Gladiators visited my primary school when he was doing the Hastings panto that year, got his signature 4 times before he realised I was taking the piss. Whilst wandering around...

Glorious day at the Pilot Field, decided against the amex this weekend due to the trains. Hastings in complete control for 95% of the game, all 11 players including a young JJ Walker at centre back were absolutely brilliant. Stand out for me was Femi Akinwande who looks a right handful up top...
