I would ask Gus why doesn't he respond to the crowd when they sing his name. I know its a trivial point but most other managers acknowledge the crowd. And even some of the players do during the game itself. Why can't he?
That is simply incorrect. Standing may be tolerated but it is not "allowed". Ever since the Taylor report standing is not allowed in all seater stadiums. It may be tolerated by some but that is an entirely different argument.
Hypothetically yes. Would prefer to see a younger manager given a chance - like we did with Gus; but in the unlikely event that Gus went I wouldn't be unhappy with 'Arry.
I agree with some of the other posters. Liverpool didn't sign a much needed striker and Owen is still available. Whatever you think about him he can still put the ball in the back of the net. Wouldn't be at all surprised if he goes back to Liverpool.
Nice guy too. Saw him sitting in Costa Coffe in the Lanes on Thursday. My 15yo son asked for a photo and he was more than happy to talk to him and have a photo.
Lots of rumours in Liverpool that Benitez may be going back to Liverpool to replace Dalglish. Mentioned on sportsday live news on BBC web-site. If there is any chance of that Benitez will turn down Villa.
If GP goes (and I hope he doesn't) we will be an attractive proposition for a big(ish)...
This isn't true. The club took advice from the Hillsborough Family Support Group who were supportive. The HFSG were the first group to be formed after the tragedy. The Hillsborough Justice group were not consulted and it is this group that is unhappy. As somebody else has said the BBC are trying...
Catering stands outside the ground. My son an I are season ticket holders in the North Stand but if my wife & daughter attend they normally get tickets in the West stand. Would be nice to eat with them outside the ground before watching the match.
