Must hurt given your current predicament. We love him and respect him for the commitment he gives us. Championship might be his level but try telling him that. We might be coming back down but we are richer, literally, for the success he has given us and his presence at our club.

Definitely a Burnley fan. I'm not just gonna sit here and allow the good name of my club to be besmirched. Brighton have along, long way to come in Football before they begin to ponder why a player joins Burnley FC over them.

Just thought I'd revisit this thread to register my surprise that Brighton are yet again not matching the lofty ambition of their fans. Perhaps some expectations need to be moderated to become more in line with previous levels of achievements as I suggested months ago?

Lots of delusion to keep insisting on the 'money' card in light of overwhelming evidence to the contrary. If he plays for Burnley, he is more likely to win something than what he would if he played for Brighton. This is also true. 'End of', as someone so succinctly put it.
