Terrible substitution. Why would Potter sub out the player that's look most likely to score or have an assist.
Trossard has been shit why was he not subbed off instead? So frustrating

Lovely flick in the box by Jahanbakhsh a few minutes ago nearly led to an assist. I really hope Potter doesn't sub Jahanbakhsh out, he's been Brighton's most dangerous player today and feel like he's the most likely player to produce or help produce a goal.

I suggested he could score 10 to 15 goals in the premier league, not 15 plus. It's also not reasonable to suggest Jahanbakhsh is not good enough for the premier league when he has only gotten 2 starts this season in his position and 3 starts last season. If he was given the opportunity to start...
His old teammate which was inferior to him in every stat in Holland is banging them in against the likes of Bayern Munich and Dortmund and the team which he is a starter for currently sits in third in the Bundesliga. It's not irrational to say that Jahanbakhsh has not performed in England due to...
Look up Wout Weghorst. He was Jahanbakhsh's teammate at AZ Alkmaar in the 2017/2018 season. That season in the Dutch Eredivisie Weghorst scored 18 goals and had 6 assists as the club's CF. Jahanbakhsh that same season scored 21 goals and had 12 assists as a Right Winger. Following season...
The risk factor is a valid point, however doesn't change the fact that he should have continued getting minutes after performing well against Chelsea and Bournemouth. If only Potter had awarded him a string of starts after those performances it could have changed Jahanbakhsh's fate at Brighton...
I respect Brighton as a club and wish for Brighton's success, but I dislike Potter for not giving Jahanbakhsh enough game time and crushing his confidence. Last season when Jahanbakhsh put in a string of good performances starting with that bicycle against Chelsea instead of being rewarded with...
I feel like Jahanbaksh is being used as a scapegoat by some here. Yes Jahanbaksh missed a header but moments before that he put it on a platter for Connolly who also missed an empty net.
Also don't forget he looked to be one of the liveliest players on the pitch first 15 min vs Leceister where...
Why is March starting over Jahanbaksh? I swear if Jahanbaksh had started he would have had a goal or an assist by now. Put Jahanbaksh in an attacking position and he will produce for God's sake!

At this point it's getting a bit ridiculous. Neither Trossard nor March did much last game in an attacking sense, and all of a sudden he doesn't change the lineup which is a hallmark of Potter this season.
Jahanbaksh not starting RW/RM is criminal. March cannot score with either foot.

My thoughts exactly! I'm really happy about Montoya and Balogun fitting into the defense nicely. Because a strong defense is the most important thing. And the depth of the team looks promising!

Sure if Izquierdo started training last week and is fully fit (which I don't think he will be for 90 minutes based on reports) than I'd expect him to start over AJ as well. And if Knockaert doesn't perform well in the first half I'd expect to see Jahanbakhsh come on early in the 2nd half. Just...
Sure it's speculation on my part to say Hughton rates AJ higher than Izquierdo, but I say this because before Izquierdo transferred to Brighton he had a decent performance the season prior in Belgium's top flight scoring scoring 14 and but having 0 assists. Now compare that to AJ's stats in...
