    Two day City break.......suggestions?

Berlin for me. Easy train ride into the centre from the airport ( all trains are regular, punctual and cheap) Lots to do, mostly within walking distance. Would recommend the half day group cycle tour to get your bearings. Relatively inexpensive when compared to similar type cities. Try, also to...

Does anyone here think Trump is a safe bet for Pres?

Truly depressing that in the world's major superpower and with over 250 million to choose from, Trump and Clinton are the 2 choices

Last Brighton Away Game You Attended?

Cardiff City, February 2015 and quite comfortably the worst game I've ever been to. Both sets of fans booed their teams off as it was so bad.

'Obscure" US TV choices - recommendations please

I have just finished watching ''The Affair'. Sky Atlantic. 10 episodes. Gripping stuff and tremendous acting. Series 2 is in the autumn. Anybody else see it?

    Your worst concert.

I saw UB40 at the Brighton Centre in 1984. Poor acoustics, half empty, no atmosphere. Tedious.

If you could revisit one game from the goldstone era which would it be?

I was at this game as a 12 year old in the west stand and remember vividly all the Spurs fans chasing Brighton out of the North Stand and onto the pitch. Also, Easter 1978 as Brighton beat Charlton 2-1 in front of lots (30,000 plus) on Good Friday and Bristol Rovers 3-0 on Easter Monday to put...

Shops you seem to spend a lot of time in but don't particularly like.....

Sports Direct: Good for picking up a bargain and for kitting out the kids for their various activities, but bored disinterested teenage staff, poor layout of goods, a large amount of cheap looking tat, and generally a downbeat feel to the place.

    Oakmeeds School, Burgess Hill

I left Oakmeeds in 1982. It was a decent comprehensive school in those days with strong sports teams. My sister's children go there now and enjoy it. I think the recent Ofsted report will sharpen things up; they need to recruit some more experienced staff, but I think the school is heading in...

    British Summertime

By not putting the clocks back at the end of October, we would be able to offer a lot more after school sport. Traditionally, school football, rugby netball matches etc stop between November until well into February because of a lack of daylight. I would have thought that in order to encourage...
