[Misc] Are you a Dad or a Father?

Always dad. But where I live now (Estonia) they always use isa (father) or ema (mother). A small child might call thier father isi, but that's the nearest I've ever heard of something different being used.

    [Albion] Next Bayer Leverkusen manager

That would be a big U turn on his part. He has publicly said he is very happy with his Red Bull job and not looking to go into club management for now. I think part of the reason he left Liverpool was because he was mentally exhausted and wanted a break.

    [Politics] Russia invades Ukraine (24/02/2022)

We already spend 5% on defense here plus an extra 2% defence tax will start soon. You can just hope for the best or be prepared, I know which I prefer. All countries in Europe need to be stepping up and prepared...

    [Politics] Russia invades Ukraine (24/02/2022)

Inspirational! A real leader. His speech was all about the Ukrainian people. He is one of them. Somebody else doesn't know how to be a leader. He makes it all about HIM.

[Football] Tactical Nerd Alert - Is building from the back dead?

I think it just goes to show that things are always evolving and the best coaches will be those willing to adapt or even come up with a whole new philosophy. If you remember with RDZ for quite a while we were blowing away the opposition, they simply couldn't cope with us. One of the first to...

[Albion] Is Fab doing a good job? (Yet another poll)

I think Tony is always more likely to fire people for poor behaviour (Poyet, DeZerbi). Poor performance he will give more time but draw the line eventually (Hyppia, Hughton).

    [Albion] Next manager?

I don't think there will be any change before the end if the season. On the off chance Fab himself decides to leave I think the experienced German coach would be caretaker. What I would like most is to see an improvement in team spirit in these remaining games

    [Politics] Russia invades Ukraine (24/02/2022)

I am English but live here with my Estonian Mrs. The Estonians are incredibly passionate about their own identity and culture. 1991 still in the fairly recent past when they regained their independence from the Soviet Union and they don't want to give that up for sure.

    [Politics] Russia invades Ukraine (24/02/2022)

Kaja Kallas was previously our Estonian prime minister. Extremely outspoken against Russia. Putin put her on his 'list' ages ago. In the current situation it's definitely good to have someone like her in the EU.

Surprised he's not playing and leading the Masters. After all he is the bestliest golfer in the world!

[Football] What football's all about ...

I do miss us being in the lower divisions sometimes. In some ways it was more fun when you had lower expectations. Every now and then we would have a great season.
