Wow, you're a very bigoted fool, whilst some pubs in the Hillsborough area does attract a few ********s there are some good pubs and good people in there, however on matchdays it is usually home fans only, as is the Horse and Jockey now.
Personally I'd recommend to have a few beers in the city...
To be fair to Carvalhal after the final whistle he looked a very relieved man, and spoke to Hughton. Best of luck for next season regardless of how we get on at Wembley. You certainly cranked up the noise last night, best I've heard in my four trips to the AMEX.
I'll stick with saying Hillsborough as the Blue tram stops there and goes direct to the station plus there is a bus station there too so should get a couple of buses that take you into town.
A slow amble down to Hillsborough corner is your best bet as the trams will be rammed straight after the game and uncomfortable, if you can make the shortish walk head into the Rawson for a pint and let the dust settle
What time is your train fella? Cos it'll be nightmare. Ideally you'd walk into Hillsborough itself (3/4s of a mile, if that) and catch the Halfway (blue tram) as that is direct to the station. If your train leaves before 10 you've no chance.
Having City rivals is pretty good, the banter at work in the lead up and after the derbies can be decent. Matchdays can be downright hostile mind. The only issue is it drains the support, this season we've averaged 22.5k to their 20k which shows there is a lot of people that actually like...
