Nobby Horton was one of the most influential players we ever had. Along with Ward \ Lawrenson et al that was the best BHA side to date. So he'll always be up there for me as a player.

Norman Gall was one of my favourite ever players - especially alongside John Napier, but tonight he is really grating on me - mind you not much to be cheerful about tonight Roll on Crewe ! GOSBTS is still being sung - bloody heros !! :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:
