I think that Southern Combination Division 2 is a feeder league and doesn't come under the same jurisdiction as Combination Division 1 and above.
The line ups of feeder divisions are normally announced in June if I recall correctly.

There is some info on this thread regarding possible grading issues.
Worthing FC are playing their first 6 games away from home.
If all goes to plan with the building works then the game v Hornchurch on Saturday 7th September will be the first home fixture of the season.

First month of Southern Combination fixtures for Division 2.
The Southern Combination are involved in a groundhop weekend over 25th, 26th and 27th October.
Roffey v Varndeanians on the Friday evening.
Oakwood v Alford, Crowborough v Hassocks and a home game for Jarvis Brook on Saturday.
Sunday will see Pagham v Loxwood and East Preston v Godalming.
Easy way to alleviate this problem would surely have been to give the people who attended the semi final v Maidstone priority for tickets as that particular game sold out beforehand with no pay on the gate tickets available.
Not perfect but at least more people who have actually watched...
Both clubs come out of this ticket fiasco very badly. Allowing Worthing STHs one ticket each but giving the general sale the chance to buy 4 wasn't a great idea. With the option for STHs to buy 2 I'm confident the vast majority of spares would have been passed onto genuine fans.
Braintree...
Worthing's poor run of form continued yesterday losing 2.3 at home to Bath City.
3 points from the last 12 available despite taking the lead in all 4 matches and the 4th worst defensive record in the division have put any involvement in the play offs under threat.
