I have a 19 & 17 Yr old and I had my first at 32. If I was 32 now, no frigging way would I be bringing up children in this climate.

My mate and his family moved over to Alberta. She's an ITU Nurse and earning way more than uk and can afford a much bigger house than the one they had in Crowborough. They also ski a lot every weekend. For them, it was a no brainer and good luck to them.

You forgot to mention the blatant cronyism & corruption that made a Burlusconi government look legit, a complete lack of governance during covid, together with the highest structural debt since WW2 with no family silver left to sell off to reduce it.

I think its also due to the south east becoming increasingly densely populated and as a consequence, the wanker/sq mile index has gone through the roof. Living in a perma congested area brings out the worst in people.
