Well I tought it was buzzing on Saturday and I really like The Terrace. I love the vibe of it, got there an hour before and stayed an hour after. It's only been open a few weeks so I'm sure it'll adapt.
It's the same with Sheff Wed, apart for a league cup 30 years ago, most of their success pre-dates WW2 and even WW1! Basically everyone bar a few (probably) who witnessed these honours are no longer alive.
Entitled fans such as West Ham like the idea of a long term coach but they actually don't have the stomach for it. They'll want him gone by October if they are not around the top 8.
I was really gutted at 2-1 and I could understand why people left. However, I am a fully signed up member to The Terrace, so stayed right to the end. It was great to celebrate with the players too. It was glorious at The Terrace, buzzing atmosphere.
They have delusions of grandeur. It is why I can't understand why Potter would go there based on his inability to except being criticised. Those fans bullied Potter today and you could see his anger from his interview. The cliches he used with us won't wash with that entitled lot and he knows...
Erm yep, i am looking forward to it. The typical optimism that creeps the day before and leading up to game on the day. I hope that this time, we feel better after the match than the last few and the team actually perform. They still have something to play for after all. It's a must win.
We usually have 2k no shows don't we? Perhaps, those no shows are just now making sure they put on the exchange to avoid getting a red mark next to their name.
To be honest, I reckon we were going all in on McKenna from the start, expecting he'd come considering the squad we have and the 200million investment. Fab could have been 3rd/4th choice for all we know.
I think these season would feel more positive if the wins and losses were more mixed up. We go through a winning run and the extreme highs that go with it, then long runs of dross and defeats.
