Did every game. Tad over 4K. Would do it again in a heartbeat. Except the pick pocket nightmare in Athens (another 400 quid on top to resolve).

Well we were staying a fair way from tkt collection point, so as a group decided to leave that morning with passports. Based on what the club had put on the site. Just bad luck I had mine lifted.

Club guidance stated you had to have your passport. That didn't help reduce risk. As ordinarily I certainly wouldn't have had it on me.

I've edited my reply to elaborate mate. Wrecked my head space during the game unfortunately but I did get it sorted in amazing time.

I had my temp replacement processed overnight thankfully after game. In real terms it prob took 6hours before contact to say it was ready. When I signed the log to collect mine early morning, there were already 4 other signatures that day from others in same boat. Embassy were fantastic. But...

Kudos to British Embassy in Athens though. They were flippin amazing.

Yeah I had my passport lifted while queuing for the first stewards cordon. Phone and wallet in front pockets, passport in closed short leg pocket. I was holding flag and match ticket and surrounded by loads of people you assume are doing what you are. Realised it had gone soon as past that...

Get boat transfer to hotel. Great fun. Went in Feb 4yrs ago. Good time to do it. Walked and walked. We left just before Festival of Masks which looked massive event judging by the prep. Recommend buy a day ticket for public water taxi and hop on hop off as you like.

Usually 500 to 700 quid return each year. Easy way to centralize any savings and always a chance of something decent win wise.
