    [Brighton] Grace ***May Contain Spoilers***

Book was a decent read and goes into detail about the Amex. Even Darren Balkham and others get a mention

[Music] Your first ever (proper) gig?

The Stranglers at Canterbury Odeon circa 78. Support was a band called London who featured John Moss later of Culture Club on drums

[Misc] What Book are you Currently Reading?

Just reading Whispers by Glen Matlock. Really good insight into the dynamics of the pistols. Actually got to see the Rich Kids and thought they were great especially their version of Pretty Vacant seeing Matlock wrote it.

    [Albion] Sunday Times Rich List

Has our Tony up to no 233 up from 286 worth £716m …. Supposedly he’s worth a bit more but who knows

    [Help] Experiences of Skin Cancer

I had a BCC removed a few years ago at Brighton General. Remember they kind of scraped it off but also remember being told it was cancer and although not serious that word is so powerful you do brick it.

[Music] Ramonas and The Sex Pistols Expose

Yep both bands really impressive. Ramonas own stuff was good. Shame their drummer is leaving as she was superb. Just thought Sid was a bit of a knob.

[Albion] Films or TV with a BHAFC reference in it

You might be thinking of Ralph Brown. He wore a Brighton shirt in Up and Under

    [Music] British v American Punk

I voted British although my best ever gig in Brighton was the Ramones in 86 at the top rank. Blew me away. As a counter balance best ever gig in London was the Ruts at the Marquee with Malcolm Owen … two separate events but etched in the memory for ever. Sadly most of them no longer with us.

[Albion] The growing awareness of the Albion around the globe

We have students who come over for a week. Two recent Man U fans from Thailand were desperate to go to the Amex and get a Mitoma shirt. Another Spanish girl went there and came back with a McAlister shirt for her brother whilst another said how her dad back in Madrid had watched the semi final.

Agreed apart from the Urchin. Too pretentious for a bunch of lads
