¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I was just passing an opinion that the direct nature of the goals is something we need to lean in to a little more. On another day we recycle that wide and piss it away, trying to drag the opposition around.
Baleba’s goal came from little build up, a lot of skill and a fair bit of...
The celebrations were lovely. The team and manager need that big time and it was a great moment for everyone.
Now need to use this momentum in the last few games and iron out some issues in training. Simplify the game a bit IMO. With all the XG research and phases of play, overlapping blah...
Mbuemo’s goal to make it 2-1 is one of the worst I’ve seen recently. A catalogue of can’t-be-fuckedness from the back 4 + keeper. Midfield gave up as well. No plan of where that ball was going, no plan to step up and play offside, obligatory deflection off Dunk and a sympathetic dive from...
I don’t know enough about it but I don’t think so. What I observed tho, is teams need to have an actual plan and passing patterns, and if a pass isn’t on then to not be afraid to go long and play some percentages to alleviate the press at times.
The ego of some of these coaches is astounding...
Marginally, but he’ll be 26 at next years WC (if he goes). I’d say perfect timing.
The bigger issue for me is him inevitably leaving. We have made a rod for our own back with our business model in that we are lacking captain / leadership material due to our selling policy. Not sure how we...
Please don’t come at me with stats and metrics, but I am happy for Pendro to be moved on sooner rather than later. I personally haven’t been impressed by him for a while and if someone wants to give us anything north of £40m I’d take it.
Out of curiosity, to all the fans getting the vintage footage out and talking about how far we’ve come since the Big Bang, how constructive / helpful did you find Potter’s history lesson comment?
