During lockdown I was given some nice/scrap timber and used it to make a couple of outdoor benches and a "matching" table. since then I've made about 15 benches, a couple of tables, 3 nice chairs, a couple of planters, a seed/planting table ....
all "outdoor quality" and I give most of them...
I watched "Darkest Hour" again last night - a wonderful film (if not always entirely accurate), but for me it illustrates the pressures and dynamics of the situation and of the players.
I'd like to see a serious attempt to make a "Harry Potter (or better) quality" series of films around the C S Lewis Narnia series - to this day (I'm 72) my favourite books, I must have read them over 20 times.

Here’s my pond, dug by me and my wife on Mothers Day about 30 years ago. It’s been through a few iterations and this year is very Newt-active, but we’re in our second year of “no frogs”.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to where all our frogs have gone?
