I should add - there are at least 2 other fans (or families of fans) in Ware. One guy I got chatting too after a Watford game in a cafe and the other worked in Costcutters… oh - and my sons teacher is a Brighton fan.

My tuppence worth from Ware in leafy Herts - very much Spurs and Arsenal territory:
- my son (8) goes to training every week in his full kit (current one has ‘Barco’ on the back which is a little awkward).
- I coach a few teams and always have my Brighton coaches kit shorts (and beanie hat in...
One thing to try - I find the screen time controls extremely glitchy and often get thrown out by IOS updates. Make sure everyone is running the most up to date iOS and it may start working again. I’ve had this on a few occasions.
A plan b is to block the device access to the router.
Agree with this - my tip would be (in Germany at least) would be to get off the autobahn if you can. Some of the roads through towns and villages are gorgeous.
If you don’t have it already, use Waze as that will scoot you around roadworks and traffic - scenic routes will need a bit more...
Heading is banned in youth football (younger years) from next season.

The apology is for ‘allowing it to happen’. There is a pretty sheepish bar manager this morning dusting off his CV.
I also hear this has sparked some tit for tat ‘attacks’ - the Alan Shearer statue at St James was adorned with a Sunderland shirt last night.
Seems this isn’t so much an own goal, as an act of sabotage. Apparently some Newcastle contractors were supposed to go in and get the bar ready / remover anything that might get broken. Left unsupervised, they decided to modify the bar.
Like a more dignified version of shitting all over your...
When I moved house, I put boxes of CDs and DVDs in boxes at the front of the house with a sign for people to help themselves. Ended up being a brilliant chance to chat with neighbours and random folk about music and films. Then, whatever was left went to the charity shop or tip.
Enjoying this thread - my tuppence-worth:
- religion is heavily monetised these days (outside of the Vatican / Catholicism point made earlier). It is very easy to create your own religion in the U.S. (for example) and enjoy various tax exemptions. Then you just need a few hyped up followers to...
