Generally speaking that's Paynter summed up, from what I saw at Leeds anyway. Confidence seems to be the issue for him, if he gets on a good run, good for him. Generally speaking I wouldn't hold your breath.
Barnsley are a tough side. When we(Leeds) played Barnsley at their place last season they beat us 5 - 2 because we fell apart like a house of cards. Not saying you'l get an easy win but one things for sure, the Brighton squad need to get into the winning mentality and take control of the game...
Mostly down to the fact you're in a league where there are no 100 percent guarenteed winners in games, every team has an equal chance of beating the other. This isn't like League 1 where there's a huge skill gap between some teams, you'l generally see a lot of games that make no sense where the...
Ironically I see this a lot on Leeds websites but most Leeds fans including me think Gus is a brilliant manager, certainly if he came to us we'd have no objections if we lost Grayson. Basically the opinion of one upset fan wanting Gus gone means nothing when the overwhelming majority of non...
To me it seems more like Confidence and lack of goals. You can compete with the better teams you just need the finish to your games to put the ball in the back of the net and end the game essentially.
Watford are a good team, the fact you drew against Birmingham who beat us(Leeds) should say it all. You can compete with the best, you just need the goals.
How about this.
Scunthorpe United dominated QPR last season despite being bottom of the table and made QPR seem like an amateur side despite QPR being top of the Championship. It all comes down to who wants it more. All you need is a win to get the season started again lol
It's a shame that the overall mood here seems to be overwhelming negativity. You have one of the best teams in this league, just because you're not winning at the moment shouldn't be an excuse for everyone to think you'l be relegated lol
I don't even support Brighton yet I'm one of few people...
Too much negativity on here tonight.
You have a good team, you're just unlucky at the moment, it happens to all of us. We Leeds fans watched our playoff spot drift away last Season with some dreadful losses and some dreadful performances, some people acted the same way on forums when we were...
Yes you would, they were poor at Elland Road, had we had some inform Strikers playing we would of burried that game, they aren't as good as some people think(Over 20 shots on their goal vs 6 shots on ours) lol
That said I predict this game will be where Brighton turns a corner and wins.
I think you'l finish in the top 6(from a Leeds fan)
20 points, 93 points up for grabs for you guys, 70ish points needed for the playoffs(Well 73 last season) you have the team to get just over half of the points required to reach this goal.
Exactly, the Championship is a league where everyone has the ups and the downs, no one team is truely blessed. Brightons time to shine will come again.
