The Spanish Super Cup (winners + runners up of the Copa Del Rey and La Liga) has already been played in Saudi for the last few years, so its not much of a leap to see them farming out more games overseas.
I wouldn't be surprised to see the Community Shield being played in the USA before long...
Yes well done.
10 years of PL cash, and you're all set for your bog standard 14th place finish. Again.
You're like an unsightly stain on the wall that nobody can be arsed to paint over.
You and me both. Where's the foul ?
GON totally lost his shit over that goal the other week when it was (rightly) ruled out for offside. Can't wait to see his interview after this one.
The other night on the news, they showed a french police officer just walk up to a boat as they were loading it, and ram a breadknife into it. The boat deflated, and everyone sloped off before it had gone 10 yards. Job done.
Don't need much equipment if they employ that tactic on the beaches.
Its the answers that start with "yeah no" that really grind my cranks.
"So young stereotypical latino midfielder, 3 points and another goal today, you must be delighted"
"Yeah no, it was a really tough game and I was happy for the team and supporte....." zzzzzzz
Only been once and that was enough. Its clearly not a football stadium, and that outdoor "concourse" (basically open air except for a canvas sheet tied over the top) was fairly grim on a freezing February afternoon.
I love a steep stand, me.
One of my bugbears with the Amex is the shallow rake of the stands. Far better and more intimidating to have them steeper, hanging over the pitch.
