My mistake. I meant the steep grade railway.
The cableway was where you say it was. In fact there's still some tumbled masonry at the bottom of the valley which I've been told is the remains of one of the cableway piers.
Is it not the winding-gear housing for the old aerial cableway?

FWIW to you lot, Joe Gatting’s career as a professional footballer passed away quietly on Saturday at Hemel Hempstead in the FA Trophy (Woking won 1-0; thanks for asking). He is now technically back with you.
One goal from open play in around seventeen appearances: too slow, not big enough...
Agreed. Has not at any point in his loan looked like a Conference standard player. Not big enough to hassle defenders, not fast enough to get away from them, and his head goes down way too early. Did he really sign a 3-year deal with you in April?
Still, we won, and he's only got another...
Has he been that bad?
Yep. Two goals in 12 games: one a pen, the other a free header against arguably the worst team in Conference history. Basically, unless the ball is dropped on his forehead or bootlaces, he just won't get to it, either through lack of pace or lack of interest. His apologist...
Might make some sense, especially as Gatting must be due back at some point soonish.
He's due back to you on Dec 18th. As a Woking supporter, I'm counting the days.
As a Brighton resident, I'll give him a lift home if he wants it.
Being no good isn't so bad. We get a lot like that. Not...
For the record, he was average. Decent penalty but nowt else to shout about. Ignore the Argus report which said he scored twice. He snatched a volley wide and was lucky it hit Tom Hutchinson and went in.
