    Leon Best: The Poll

Rudy Gestede barely scored till he joined Blackburn. Now look at him. He is a better lone striker than CMS -not that it's much of an accolade- and hopefully the ball won't bounce 5 yards off him every time. It's an improvement on what we have.

    Chris O'Grady

I thought he was very useful and if there were a few more players on the pitch willing to run beyond him other than Lua Lua then he would have been even better. He was always offering for a pass to feet and when anticipating the pass, he would always feel for where his marker was and turn...

    Future in Safe Hands (Goalkeepers)

Distribution wise, they are very good imo. At actual Goalkeeping they are nowhere near TK's level but TK is woeful in the kicking department (which I find strange seeing as though he spent years at Man UTD where the keeper gets a lot of the ball)

    Sturridge Goal Celebration

I like it. I also like Adebayor's salute, they're supposed to enjoy scoring a goal and unique celebrations are nice. Long may it continue, if he gets a chance to use it in Brazil then you may change your opinion.

    Upson

He is class. Just a brilliant all round defender, fair play to Gus and the guys for bringing him in, I was a bit sceptical at first but he has been colossal since day 1. Highlight of the night was when the players were walking off and all the ball-boys were holding out their hands for high 5s...

Brighton v Reading cup player ratings

Some of the ratings for JFC are very harsh imo. When we press teams well and win it back high up the pitch, he plays a major role due to his stamina. He is always harrying opponents and is very tidy in possession. Also thought Kemy was very good and can't understand the no left foot comments...

    Ravel Morrison...

It's because when he left Man Utd he wanted a fresh start so asked West Ham if he could have Ravel on his shirt instead.

    Gus threatens to walk out.

Interesting that he takes the job surely knowing that the DoF will sign players, handle recruitment or play some role in it. Now he has a few wins and looks to have turned a corner with them, fans are coming round to his football etc and it's looking rosy. Obviously he is only threatening to...

    ***England v Chile Matchday Thread***

Lallana looks very good. His close control is immaculate.

    Poyet to Stadium of Light

I am quite glad he is doing well. Sunderland have always been up there with the likes of Stoke, Everton(Moyes era) and Mcleish's teams in terms of their watchability-or lack of for me. At least Poyet being there and looking like he will get them to play a bit makes them more interesting.

Predict the England 23 man squad *A FUN FUN GAME"

Granted his finishing is not that great and he is a little clumsy on the ball but I think he could develop into a pretty good player. His link up play is superb and he is one of the few players who always offers for the ball and moves it on-then makes an option- he is also pretty versatile...

    Orlandi Song

Still not as good as the "Candy" one suggested on here imo

    Jonathan Obika

I have seen you post this opinion in numerous threads. You do realise the loanee will be a bench player who will probably be behind Barnes/CMS when they are fit. Obviously Leo starts and we only play one striker. Who are you expecting to come here and happily be back up that fits this "higher...

    Player Ratings vs Burnley (H)

Ward was very good, won a large percentage of his one on ones, helped out in attack and it was his block that Ulloa pressurised to lead to the first goal. Had Bridge played the game that Ward did today, people would have rated it an 8 I think. Remember that this season the wing backs are not...
