police dealing with incident on London bridge.,

I live 5 mins walk down Tooley street from London Bridge. Coming back from a mate's party at 22:30 last night the train stopped 1 stop before and the conductor said due to an incident there would be no more trains running to LB. people could tell something was up so decided to get a taxi for...

Anyone else do the Coastal Trail Series Sussex races yesterday? Did the ultra, first one. Signed up for a 50k, turned out to be 54.8k in total, 1,850m elevation, and the last 15k was essentially laps of Seven Sisters and Beachy Head... I was swearing a lot by the end of it. But a beautiful...

Gah, was hoping for a PB today but a killer combo of man-flu and eating my pre-race baked beans too late meant I was in clip the whole way round and threatening to puke. Ended up just 2s off my 5k PB and 12s off my 10k, gutted! Congrats to everyone that got good results today sounds like a good...

Sadly, I don't care any more.......

I really like this idea. It would be a great way to get fans from clubs all over the country involved and interested in the country's club again rather than just as a running joke which they now are. It would benefit the lower clubs as their player wouldn't just be playing against but also...

3:41:09 for me - was hoping for a sub-3:30 but was not to be today, legs cramped up heading towards Shoreham power station and never really recovered. Great atmosphere and support though plus perfect conditions, easily the best marathon I've run. Well done to everyone that ran today

My first run since joining the NSC Strava page and I pulled my hamstring... Exacerbated the injury I picked up in the Worthing Half, as usual went back to it too early. Still decided to book in to the Hastings Half! The Strava group is excellent btw, looking forward to competing more when I get...

    Wilson

He wouldn't be playing if it had been glandular fever - when you have that your spleen is at risk of rupture if you take a nasty knock, so the medics would enforce no contact sports (incl football) for something like 8 weeks, no way he would have been match fit.

Bit late, but did the Bright10 last weekend, thought it was a fantastic run. 1:10 for me, great atmosphere and the start/finish just across the road from me. Beachy Head yesterday as well, 4:34, wasn't feeling so good after that one but another great course, if a struggle to get round towards...

Managed to get round Beachy Head - 4:34. A fair bit off my last marathon time but I was actually anticipating it would be longer towards the end, have to admit it was tougher even than I was expecting. Whereas my first marathon I hit the mental wall, this time round it was much more of a...

    Master criminals caught on camera

South Africa is my favourite place I have visited, and most of the time I felt very safe. I was working in a hospital in Durban though, and coming from the UK it was pretty crazy to see just how many shootings/stabbings/assaults came through the door each night. Agree with the above as well...
