The 14th January 2017 sees the start of the 31st African Cup of Nations. Originally scheduled to be held in Libya, the tournament has been moved due to unrest and military action, to the West African state of Gabon.
The matches will be shared between four venues - two existing stadia in Franceville, and the capital Libreville - both built for the 2012 ACN, and in two new grounds currently being constructed by Shanghai Construction, in Port Gentil and Oyem.
