Shame we couldn’t do it for ourselves

Didn't we then? I mean, what part of being better than Fulham over the season isn't "doing it for ourselves"? I'm not sure I buy into all this "relying on others to lose" narrative. It's exciting at the end of the season and all that but in the end the table speaks for itself and if we stay up then that's because we've been better than at least three other teams throughout the whole season. I know Fulham seem to be every NSC’ers second favourite club.

But I find them irritating under the Khan’s.

Huge spender in summer 2018, double our summer 2017 spend.

Ridiculous spending/borrowing a few weeks into this season, they basically changed their first team, with a load of ‘names’ from across Europe. I don’t think the EPL should allow that.

Anyway ..... it failed. Money doesn’t always talk in the EPL.

That'll do.

Now, next year can we please have a really dull, uneventful mid table finish please? Comfortably 12th would be great.

I would also love that, only one problem, Brighton don't do boring mid table, even if we finish reasonably well we have flirted with relegation, at least we were not in the bottom 3.
I'm getting tired of the stress over many years of either relegation or promotion.
What would be great is the chance of being in with a shout of the UEFA cup slot, instead of the bottom end of the table.
Strange thing is, I am so used to it that I would probably get bored of more than one season of mid table mediocrity.

Thank you Burnley.

Congrats everyone we’re officially safe.

I’ve found myself caught out by the annual ‘Three Teams More Shit Than Us’ celebrations being early this year. I don’t think I’ve even got any Blue Nun in.

Flash back to Poyet’s Withdean team and ask yourself if you said “in 2021 Chris Wood will keep Brighton in the Premier League without playing for us, in front of no fans” how quickly the men in white boats would be called for.

Or saying in November that Mat Ryan would deny Fulham a victory with a last minute header... for Arsenal. The men in the white boats, whoever they are, would go crazy... men in white coats would have to go get em.

We'll be needing some points from our last three to avoid 17th. Fulham look like a guaranteed three points for Southampton and Newcastle.

We did, we have 10 more points than them.

We did. 10 points and an excellent goal difference ago. I have to keep explaining this to Mrs Earle. I didn't expect to have to do it here as well:)

Alright you know what I mean. Stop picking on me. :tantrum:

Lol that was the clearest sending off you’ll ever see, taking pity on a relegated team

What is wrong with the ref's in this country. Fulham penalised because the player tries to stay on his feet and then then their keeper should be off.
