Not sure you could ever really improve on Cohen's songs - but 20 years ago I sat with some Americans and Scandinavians in an Irish Bar in Holland whilst a Canadian with his guitar played and sang Suzanne and others from Cohen, and I was near enough in tears at the end of it, it was marvellous. No video I'm afraid, but probably like Nelson's goal at Brentford it's better in the memory and wouldn't stand up to repetitive scrutiny!
