I know I can think differently than others and they don't get it, but because it does not fit with their agenda, they resort to personal insults and trolling me.


The constant abuse at times is nothing short of targeted bullying.

But do they get banned?

Do they even get warned?

And despite asking for my misunderstood comment, which got turned into a racial slur on me, the decision was not removed and is still there for all to see.

Meanwhile I have taken to review my comments, and now think all the public sector should get 20% rises and furlough and grants and universal credit uplift should all stop today.

It doesn't. Exactly the opposite in fact. NHS workers DO have a choice - as do members of the armed forces. They do a difficult - and sometimes a dangerous job - and I for one am bloody grateful that they have made that choice.

Well, the majority of the tabloids support the government so despite some monumental F-ups (eat out to help out ), despite incompetency, corruption, breaking international law - more than once, and yet still ahead in the polls. If only they believed 22bn on an app.

Sounds like you should give forums a miss. Kevin Bridges does an excellent sketch that if you see social media as a pub, what would you do? If you went into this thread as a pub, would you walk straight back out and find a better pub? Of course you would. Treat social media as you would the real world. You wouldn’t go in a pub you didn’t like by choice would you.

Yes. We should stop seeing public services as the ones who pay for banking crises or pandemics. Do you think that there are no other tools at hand for raising the public purse? Didn’t touch the top rate of tax did he as an example. He’s raised corporation tax but that doesn’t apply for a few years. What about a higher rate of CT for certain size of profit? Actually I’m not an economics person, but it feels there are other avenues when wealth is still massively increasing for many through this pandemic.

Well that is not the case. In the region of 85% of total tax revenue is obtained from about 10/12%

This feels like a planned and calculated insult designed to rile the frontline staff and the unions In to a reaction to which the government will react with slowly dismantling the NHS and bringing in big US medical companies.
It's such a massive pisstake it's the only angle I can see as to why they have done this.

You’re right but it was about 600m the billions is spent on the testing. The app was a grotesque failure. It was always going to fail as in this country any such scheme will be dismissed by the huge amount of people. There is never a buy in to such projects and if a high percentage say no it’s doomed to fail.

Maybe I trust in technology too much but I would have made it such that used the network to trace where people were or make the app interact with network to show it was working. Infringement on liberty ? no its a national crisis.
