Problem Newcastle have and always will is attracting top players from abroad, while it may be great for a piss up, the wags will mot like it. They have even considered having their training facilities near to London allowing their players to live down south.

Schar is a huge miss not only Wilson. They’re looking a bit like Bournemouth last year. Which is good news for us.

They’re also along with WetSham one of the clubs I wouldn’t especially miss in the top league with us despite their fans telling us how huge they are. As opposed to palarse who I’d much rather always finish 17th and on negative 169 goal difference for the year than actually go down.

Palace suffering for having such an old squad. I bet Zaha somehow manages to recover for our match as I don’t think he’s ever missed a game against us.
He might pay with a longer time out injured if he is rushed back early just because it is us.

Almiron & Saint Maximin out until April. So certainly our game. With Wilson, Manquillo, and Schar out for a similar period Newcastle could find themselves sinking even further.

Yep, they are in deep shit. They were negative when they had Wilson, ASM and Almiron fit, I can't begin to imagine how defensive they're going to be now! Another reason why I am so confident we will stay up.

Newcastle highlight to me another example of why we are on to a good thing with Potter despite our relatively poor strikers and lack of goals recently. We play a system that all players buy into from front to back, passing through the lines and generally dominating most games we play. No matter who comes in, we continue to play the same way and the players know their job and do it equally well.

Newcastle are totally reliant on trying to be hard to break down and then relying on a bit of individual brilliance from the likes of ASM, Wilson or Almiron to try and grab a goal. Take those out and they have no plan or idea how to win games. Bruce is crap. His face was a picture when they played against us at their place last season and this - he didn't have a clue what was happening on the pitch as we swarmed all over them.

The problem Newcastle now have is they've probably been looking at their next 3 games thinking they have to take a decent amount of points there, which with their injuries is now going to be tough, because from April onward their fixture list gets very tricky. Lots of top teams to play. They only really have 'winnable' games for their last 2 of the season against Sheff & Fulham.

Whilst a healthy fruit diet is fine beware the effect fructose build up has on the body and in some cases can actually lead to a weight gain .

You could be in trouble .

Yep, agree. And despite their position and lack of points, Sheff Utd is never an easy game as they are usually 'in' every match they play. And the Fulham match on the last day of the season could be, probably will be, huge with massive pressure on it.

Will also be interesting to see what happens if fans are allowed in grounds for the last game. I can't imagine Newcastle will be happy to play that game at Fulham with fans there!

They've lost 21 / 26 so far, and have -28 goal difference, so they can't be that far 'in'...

They are very far in compared to how very far out they seem to be. Unlike a lot of other teams they almost never lose with more than one or two goals, just like -28 GD in 21 losses suggests.

It will need 14 clubs to vote to allow fans back for the last game - I can't see any away teams being too keen to vote for that

I wonder if there are posters on the SUFC boards saying "FFS we should be DRAWING these..."

"We don't get luck"

Played Spurs without Kane
Liverpool without Mane
Palace without Zaha
Leicester we'll play with no Barnes or Maddison
Newcastle we'll play with nobody left

All teams have injuries but quite a good run we've had playing teams missing some of their main goal threats.
