He is really getting away with it during lockdown. The Amex would be toxic with these awful home performances. One win in the last 18 PL games is appalling and unacceptable. I wonder how Bloom would be reacting if faced with a regular storm of boos and chanting, instead of a whole host of frustrated keyboard warriors, unseen and unheard

We'll never be top six, not even with two decent strikers. I know that Leicester and West Ham are trespassing in the top four at the mo but when does anyone really see us ahead of either Citeh, ManUre, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs and the Arse?

Yes knowing the outcome 9/10’times before a ball is kicked isn’t a very appealing prospect. Considering many supporters give up a day let alone the cost to attend home games I think it definitely would of become toxic.
Because our forwards are poor to crap at EPL level. They really are.
Not just in tucking away more of the chances or half chances, but in failing to provide assists (damning stats) and screwing up the final pass.
A genuine question, who would you recruit as our new manager for the final 12 games and in the Championship/EPL next season?
[Has to be a realistic choice of someone who’d join us and who’s willing to work with TB’s three-line-whip of not spending on the wages/fee demanded by elite strikers].

I dont get this Hughtonball bashing. Potter has achieved no more than Hughton as it stands. Promise of top ten is just that.....promise & fantasy.
Who knows if Potter takes us down if his football will be as easy on the eye compared to say Hughton's Forest now. Potters football may seem easy on the eye but it could also see us tumbling down the league's. FWIW I am in the Potter must stay gang but comparing the last six months of Hughtons reign with the possibility of championship football under Potter is like comparing a meal at The Savoy against a chinese takeaway,.........but I am not sure which is best or best for this club!

Maupay came to us full of confidence and it showed in his first season, now he just looks broken. Somethings not right behind the scenes. It often happens to players when they stop believing in the coach/manager’s tactics.

Tactics that get him the ball and give him openings.
Imho he lacks finesse and calmness of mind in the moment. When in form, the best we can hope for is a goal every 4 EPL games.
I agree, he has deteriorated but in terms of the pacey forward with a great engine, buzzing around as a nuisance to back lines, in those initial 4 months with us.
Like Knockaert and Jahanbakhsh, I think he struggles for confidence at elite level, knowing there are weaknesses in his game, which becomes a mental vicious circle.

If Potter doesn't have the strikers to play Potterball then he needs to adapt his game to suit the strikers he does have.

Problem is the strikers can’t score basic goals, Maupay and Connolly both had chances that at the very least you would expect a half decent non league striker to at least hit the target. Connolly blazed over from 5 yards. Mupaay shot would have gone out for a throw in. We failed to hit the target with 2 penalties. The issue here is the striker options are really not that great. They are also pretty similar. It’s unlikely with the options we have you could swing cross after cross in as none of them have any aerial abilitty either. We are currently playing to most of their strengths and create chance after chance. Problem seems to be they literally can’t finish

So-called Potterball doesn’t ask that much of the strikers, just the ability to score from 6 yards out. I can’t think of anyway that he could adapt the style of play to make it any easier for them. The last goal that any striker scored it was literally laid on a plate for Maupay to pass into the net.

The last few months under Hughton were just awful to watch. The away game at Spurs in particular is stuck in my mind.....it was embarrassing.
13/2 now with Betfair.

I think we may only need 2. Not worried about the remaining games as perversely we seem to do better against the better sides. With our record against the bottom few clubs I'd rather be playing Leicester next week.
Think it's going to be a record low to survive this season. Add in a draw or 2 and that will be enough.
