Very disappointed to see it took to the second page postings before a Kylie bottom picture came up. Easily my favourite, not just for her bottom, but her longevity. From Neighbours starlet to singing cute songs, to dirty songs, and now a more mature level of professionalism. The female Cliff Richard.

I also liked Rolf Harris before he received the 6am raid.

Understand what you mean about Rolf Harris. Never saw that coming.

About ten years ago, I went with an actor friend to an end of run party at Chichester Theatre. There was an Australian wardrobe mistress there and for some reason the conversation turned to Rolf Harris.

She bridled at his mention and said, “You know why he left Australia in the 50s? Because he was messing around with underage girls and the authorities were closing in on him.”

Afterwards, my friend and I discussed it.

“What a load of bollocks,” I said. “As if old Rolf would do a thing like that.”

Three years or so later...

Surprised how many Aussies there are in this category.

Richie Benaud wins for me.
Greg Norman also worth a mention. Thoroughly nice guy when you heard him speak, and good enough to choke and hand a green jacket to Nick Faldo.

I was a big Rolf fan, and still like his art and humorous songs - but now not the man. We were in Australia in 1991 and were told something similar then - but just dismissed it as how could that have been true of someone who was already a National Treasure back home?

A little bit ashamed to say that I cant think of one single Australian who made my life better, more interesting or more entertaining in any way whatsoever... but surely there must be someone.

Never enjoyed a movie with Guy Pearce, Eric Bana, Hugh Jackman, Heath Ledger, Isla Fisher, Margot Robbie or Rebel Wilson?
No? Angela White then.
